  3. <hi style=afpcap>The blue fin flash on the tail of this McDonnell F-15E Eagle is the color of the 492nd Fighter Squadron, part of the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath, England. The "Statue of Liberty Wing," well known for its operations against Libya in 1986, operates the 492nd, 493rd, and 494th Fighter Squadrons. Once equipped with the F-111, they all now fly the F-15E.</hi>
